Whilst much of the Beginners Class is focused on learning and understanding the equipment and techniques, the Intermediate Class is a definite ‘change-up’, with the emphasis firmly on results.
To attend, you should already have seen some improvement in your core strength and flexibility. You should also be comfortable with the Reformer, understand how the core muscles work, and be able to activate them correctly.
You’re moving up a level. The workout is more intense, the pace is faster, and the music is louder.
Expect significantly more variety – with hundreds of exercises for your Trainer to choose from, no two classes will ever be the same. On average, you’ll work through twice as many exercises as in the Beginners Class, all more challenging. In each case, the routines are duration based, and you’ll work through to fatigue (the point where you can’t do any more) on each one.
The exercises are tailored individually, allowing you to target specific areas, and work towards specific goals. With a maximum of ten members to a class, people of different abilities can train together without compromising individual aims.
You’ll quickly see new levels of core strength, flexibility, and aerobic fitness. Your posture will improve; you’ll stand taller and straighter, and your physique will become leaner and more toned.
