Massage
Whether it’s part of your overall fitness programme, preparation for a specific sport or occasion, or as injury or pain relief, massage can offer significant benefits.
It has been proven to have a positive effect physically, physiologically and psychologically. And with that in mind, we have put together a range of massage treatments to cover all three areas, from the TenPilates Sports massage that relieves injured muscles and helps prevent further injury to our invigorating, relaxing, circulation-boosting Swedish Massage.
TenPilates Massage treatments
Sports Massage – £65
The TenPilates Sports massage incorporates specialist remedial techniques into a massage treatment that improves movement and helps treat injuries and postural problems. Read more
Rather than just offering the relaxation of a typical holistic massage, this deep tissue massage stimulates the muscular & nervous systems. Whilst Sports massage is often used for pre-event preparation or to aid recovery, its positive effect on the muscular system means that this type of massage can also be a valuable supplement to your fitness regime, helping you gain long, lean muscles even faster.
Lymphatic Drainage – £60
This therapeutic massage treatment uses very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase lymphatic flow. Read more
Throughout everyday life, toxins enter our body through the food we eat, the drink we drink and the environment we live in. By supporting the body’s own Lymphatic system and increasing the flow of lymph around the body, Lymphatic drainage helps refresh your immune system and flush out toxins. As a result, not only can it improve the appearance of skin and reduce puffiness, but it can also have a powerful effect on your overall health.
Swedish Massage – £60
Swedish body massage is the original massage technique, involving a sequence of movements working both superficially and deeper into the tissue layers. Read more
Not only does it help rejuvenate the body by increasing the amount of oxygen absorbed by the skin, it also works to eliminate the toxin build-up in the body by increasing the flow of lymph cells.
Holistic/Deep tissue (Hermione Bigland) - £80
A blend of traditional relaxation techniques combined with a more thorough deep tissue manipulation, to create an indulgent and complete relaxation experience. Read more
The treatment aims to sooth and calm the mind, bring the emotions into balance and ease strains, tension and blockages in the body and skin. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, responding to your needs both physically and mentally; a complete head-to-toe treatment to relax and revitalise every part of the body.
