If you’re looking for a genuinely challenging Dynamic Pilates-based workout designed around - and for - the male physique, this might just be the class for you.

What to expect

The names are similar, but the workout is the same.

The difference is that the Men Only classes are held at our Notting Hill studio and (the name’s a bit of a hint here), is purely for the boys. In the Men’s Priority sessions at Chiswick, women are welcome to attend, but should expect to be in the minority.

Either way, it’s a high-intensity class, combining Dynamic Pilates with boxing, cardio and circuit training.

As with the advanced Class, we focus on highly functional exercises, performed with precision. But here, there’s more emphasis on the upper body – chest, shoulders and stomach. We also focus more on the two areas where men are traditionally weaker: flexibility and posture.

And with no concession to a woman’s more delicate sensibilities (as if) expect more noise, nastier music, more testosterone, and plenty of sweating.

Results and benefits

Come prepared to work hard (not that there’s any choice) and expect to burn fat, build and define muscle, and improve posture and flexibility.
